Jupiter Red Spot Ale

Overall Grade:A-
Taste:A-
Drinkability:A-
Aroma:A-

A sweet, malty almost creamy ale with a bit of spice and a slightly bitter finish. Smooth and drinkable, Red Spot Ale is one of the better reds I've come across.

It's one of the better reds I've come across. If you ever wind up in Berkeley and are in the market for a beer, I'd make visiting Jupiter a priority (2181 Shattuck Avenue).

Located in a historic building, it has some other really good beers and solid selection of food. It's one of my favorite brewpubs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
