Sweet, smooth and tasty.

I love a good red, and this passes the test easily. Red Rock it outstanding from start to finish. It's similar to Jupiter's Red Spot Ale but cleaner, crisper and tastier. Triple Rock, which, like Jupiter, is located in Berkeley, California, has the same ownership as Jupiter. As far as taste goes, it may be the best red ale I've had this year.

There's a faint carmely aroma that I really had to try hard to identify.

Triple Rock opened in 1985 and claims to be America's oldest original brewpub. I also tried their IPAX (IPA) and Porcini Porter during the same visit. Red Rock was my favorite of the three.
