New Belgium Hoptober

Refreshingly crisp and tastey.

Having tried my share of beers that are full of flavor but have to be syrupy to get there, Hoptober is a relief of a well-balanced brew. Starting clean and easy-to-drink, it kicks with a burst malty cirtrus at mid-taste before letting the hops shine with an ever-so-slightly-bitter finish.

It has a pleasant carmel aroma with a hint of hops.

If you're tired of having to drink syrupy, dehydrating beers to get flavor, this is a great alternative. It isn't too heavy or rich in alcohol, but it's hardly a sacrifice in taste and it's a big advantage in drinkability. Two thumbs up.
