Russian River Consecration

June 7, 2013

Overall Grade:A
Taste:A
Drinkability:A-
Aroma:A

A sour beer lover's dream, Consecration doesn't disappoint.

It's sharp, pungent and acidic. A flavor of vinegar lingers on the palate before yielding to the sweet currants that were added to the beer.

Aged in cabernet sauvignon barrels, this dark sour hints at the mustiness of the grapes and the earthiness of the barrels.

Delicious, second only to Supplication.
