Logsdon Cerasus

July 14, 2013

Overall Grade:A
Taste:A
Drinkability:A
Aroma:A

Funky, heady and murky in appearance, this kriek beer is pleasing to all the senses.

The aroma hints at brettanomyces and cherry with a moderately yeasty and lactic finish.

The taste is similar, albeit much more complex. The cherry isn't overpowering. It's tart, mildly acidic and fairly funky. The body is light and not overly dry. Carbonated and pleasingly fizzy.

Very drinkable and pleasant. Probably my favorite kriek beer yet.
