Blaugies Saison d'Epeautre

August 30, 2013

Overall Grade:A-
Taste:A-
Drinkability:A
Aroma:B

As drinkable as a lager but super flavorful.

Mellow up front with a spectacular finish. Starts watery before taking on a creamy flavor and finishing sweet, spiced and carbonated.

There's no bitterness and the taste is complex in that it's fragile but flavorful. This would be a good offering to convert a lager drinker into a fan of craft beers, well maybe until they see the price tag.

Very faint sour, sweet, almost soapy, aroma.
